Nice Côte d'Azur (NCE)
NCE is just 7 km from central Nice, right on the coast. Two terminals — T1 (most flights) and T2 (EasyJet, some others). The tram stop is between the terminals. Transfers are mainly useful for connections to Monaco (30 km), Cannes (35 km), or hill villages.
Tram Line 2 from NCE to Jean Médecin (central Nice): €1.50, 30 min — one of Europe's cheapest airport connections. Runs every 5-10 min.
Bus 98/99 to Promenade des Anglais and Old Town: €1.50. Night bus N2 after midnight.
Nice taxis are metered. Airport to city center costs €20-30. Short distance makes all options affordable.
Kiwitaxi — Good for Riviera transfers to Monaco, Cannes, Saint-Tropez.
GetTransfer — Bids from €15 to Nice center. Very affordable due to short distance.

Uber works in Nice. The airport is so close to the city that any option is quick and cheap.
Tram Line 2 (20 min to center, €1.50) connects the airport directly. Excellent and very cheap.
The €1.50 tram: Nice's Tram Line 2 runs from the airport to central Nice for €1.50 — one of Europe's cheapest airport connections. It takes 30 minutes and runs every 5-10 minutes. Unless you have heavy luggage or are heading to Monaco/Cannes, the tram is hard to beat.
Riviera connections: Nice Airport is the gateway to the French Riviera. Monaco (30 km), Cannes (35 km), Antibes (20 km), and Saint-Tropez (100 km) are all served by pre-booked transfers. These routes are where transfers add the most value.
Helicopter to Monaco: A 7-minute helicopter transfer from Nice to Monaco costs around €160 per person. It's a splurge, but for the experience and time saved, some travelers find it worth it. Welcome Pickups can arrange it.
Coastal traffic: The A8 motorway and the corniche roads along the coast can be extremely congested during summer (July-August) and the Grand Prix weekend (May). Allow extra time for Riviera destinations during peak season.
The tram wins for: Solo travelers to central Nice (€1.50 is absurdly cheap), budget travelers, anyone going to Jean Médecin or the Old Town.
Pre-booked transfer wins for: Groups with luggage, families, connections to Monaco (30 km), Cannes (35 km), Antibes, Saint-Tropez (100 km), or any Riviera hilltop village not on the tram/bus routes. For Riviera transfers, pre-booking is essentially mandatory.
